Everything you need to know before you book

Can I use insurance for coaching sessions?

No — while Julie is a licensed occupational therapist in Pennsylvania, these are coaching sessions only, not occupational therapy or healthcare services. Coaching is educational, collaborative, and focused on wellbeing and lifestyle strategies. It does not replace medical, mental health, or OT care, and is not covered by insurance. You are always encouraged to consult your own healthcare provider for medical concerns.

Can I use my HSA or FSA?

Some clients may be able to use an HSA or FSA depending on their individual plan and whether it allows reimbursement for health or wellness coaching. Check with your plan administrator to confirm eligibility. Julie can provide documentation to support your claim, but eligibility depends entirely on your specific plan.

Do you prescribe hormone therapy?

No. Julie provides education about hormonal and non-hormonal treatment options and helps you learn how to advocate for yourself with your healthcare provider — but she does not diagnose, treat, or prescribe. Think of it as coming to your appointments informed and empowered rather than confused and dismissed.

What if I'm not sure which package is right for me?

Start with the Menopause Empowerment Session. At the end of your session, you and Julie will discuss which level of ongoing support — if any — makes sense for your goals and your life. There's no pressure and no obligation. The session is complete and valuable on its own.

I had surgical or treatment-induced menopause. Is this right for me?

Absolutely — Julie has personal experience with surgical menopause and has worked extensively with women navigating early, surgical, and treatment-induced menopause. Visit the dedicated page here for more information and resources specific to your experience.

How does the client portal work?
